Scoring Saw

Scoring Saw is a circular saw blade used in woodworking and panel processing to create a shallow groove or score on the surface of a material prior to cutting through it with a primary blade. This blade is mounted in front of the primary blade and rotates in the opposite direction, reducing material tear-out and splintering, especially in materials with veneer or laminate surfaces. Scoring Saw is frequently used in conjunction with panel saws, sliding table saws, and beam saws, particularly when working with sheet materials. It comes in a variety of diameters and tooth configurations to suit a variety of applications and materials.
